We spoke with the CEO of Pfizer, the world's largest pharmaceutical company, about his experience of buying the company's Viagra.

    What is Viagra?

Viagra is the brand name for a medication that contains a drug called Sildenafil. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), a condition where a man cannot get or keep an erection long enough to complete sexual intercourse.

Viagra, which was developed by Pfizer in the late 1990s, has become one of the most sought-after medications in the pharmaceutical industry. It was initially launched in the United States as a treatment for pulmonary arterial hypertension and was later approved for other uses.

    How does Viagra work?

Viagra, which was developed by Pfizer in the late 1990s, works by blocking the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). This allows blood to flow into the penis when a man is sexually stimulated.

When a man is sexually stimulated, blood from the penis is removed from the body through the blood vessels in the penis. This allows more blood to flow into the penis and cause an erection.

Once aroused, the blood in the penis becomes trapped in the vessel walls causing a buildup of fluid called a plaque, which causes a buildup of plaque in the penis causing damage. This buildup of plaque can lead to serious conditions such as Peyronie’s disease and angina.

Viagra works by blocking the action of PDE5, the enzyme responsible for breaking down a molecule called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). This causes the vessels in the penis to dilate, leading to increased blood flow and an erection.

Once aroused, a man can have sexual stimulation in most cases and experience an erection by touching or squeezing the male organ with his finger or, sometimes, a finger.

Viagra is not the first drug developed for ED. In 2013, a study published in the journalEur Respir Jfound that approximately two-thirds of men surveyed reported taking Viagra before sex.

What are the side effects of Viagra?

Like most medications, Viagra can cause side effects in some men. Common side effects include headaches, flushing, upset stomach, nasal congestion, and nasal congestion with alcohol and fatty foods.

More serious side effects include sudden hearing loss and vision changes. Rare but serious side effects include sudden severe allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis (an allergic reaction that causes swelling of the lips, mouth, or throat), severe heart rhythm changes (including an irregular heartbeat), and liver damage.

In rare cases, Viagra can cause more serious side effects than these, including seizures (fits), kidney problems, and sudden death. Viagra is only approved for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, not sexual dysfunction.

If you are experiencing severe side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

    SOUTH KOREA

Pharma Minister of Health Lee Jae-in-myung has also taken the initiative to introduce the ‘Viagra pills’ as a new drug.

The medicine has been approved by the South Korean health ministry and has been prescribed by health care experts for use in patients with impotence or erectile dysfunction.

The drug contains sildenafil, a medicine that treats erectile dysfunction, to the point that it is available as a generic.

The medicine is not meant for use by men and is not a substitute for the natural medicine, which contains the same active ingredient.

It has not been approved by the health ministry, but the medicine has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

The medicine was first approved for use by the health ministry in August last year.

According to the ministry, “Sildenafil is not approved for use by men with sexual dysfunction” and “It is not approved by the FDA for the treatment of erectile dysfunction”.
